    For Episode 18 of the UNSUNG podcast, the guys were joined by 2x GRAMMY-winning producer & mixing engineer Chris Tabron at Kensaltown East studios in New York. He has worked with a very eclectic list of artists including: Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, The Strokes, Common, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Rick Rubin and many more.

     

    In Episode 17 of the UNSUNG podcast, artist & DJ and Producer/Composer/Engineer, BT talks about his musical beginnings, being the youngest student to enroll at Berklee at age 15, discovering Chicago House music, starting his own record label, signing his first record deal and moving his career to the UK.

     

    For Episode 16 of the UNSUNG podcast, we’re joined by mixing engineer & co-founder of MIXLAND Audio Jesse Ray Ernster at his studio in Los Angeles. As an engineer, Jesse has been nominated for 3x GRAMMYs, winning for Best Global Music Album in 2021 for his mixing on Burna Boy’s album “Twice As Tall”.

     

    For Episode 15, ‪MixedByJocelin‬ and Matt Soczywko were joined by mixing & mastering engineer & founder of Schwabe Digital Ryan Schwabe at Kensaltown East studios in New York. Ryan has been nominated for 2x GRAMMYs and worked on multiple Gold and Platinum selling records along the way.

     

    For episode 14, Teezio talks about how he transitioned out of recording and into just being a mixing engineer, mixing “First Class” by Jack Harlow and “Industry Baby” by Lil Nas X, serving the artist’s vision for the mix, his opinions on reference tracks and communicating with clients on technical details and speaking to them honestly.

     

    For episode 13 of the UNSUNG podcast, Devvon Terrell aka ‪”HelpMeDevvon”‬ talks at Kensaltown East studios in New York. He discusses the podcast strategy for My Studionerds, learning to produce and mix in the no information era, developing plugins, UK and US rap, his projects as a singer and his first artist deal.

     

    For episode 12 of the UNSUNG podcast, we’ve got legendary mastering engineer Ohad Nissim in Los Angeles at Just For The Record Recording Studios. From trend forecasting tracks for DJs to producing electronic music in Berlin, Ohad’s musical journey no doubt had some twists and turns before eventually landing on mastering.

     

    For Episode 11 of the UNSUNG podcast, MixedByJocelin and Matt Soczywko were joined by the multi-talented L. Dre in Los Angeles at Just For The Record Recording Studios. He talks learning piano, being an introverted producer, building an audience, pivoting from selling beats to releasing his own music and being inspired by J Dilla.

     

    Alan Meyerson talks about his musical beginnings, discovering the studio, working on jingles for TV and Radio commercials, his early career as an engineer in New York, hanging out with John Lennon at the Hit Factory, losing his studio at Larrabee to Dr. Dre, meeting Hans Zimmer, music budgets in film and selling his analog gear.
