Streaming Atmos from Abbey Road Studios to Mexico City
LISTENTO used to stream 7.1.4 ATMOS versions of The Beatles and Alicia Keys tracks in full lossless 16-bit PCM from Abbey Road Studios’ iconic Studio 2 around the world to UMG Mexico.
This week, Audiomovers hosted a showcase event in Universal Music Mexico, presented by the award-winning Composer, Producer and Arranger Dan Zlotnik, with a special guest appearance from the multi-time Grammy Award-winning Recording Engineer, Mix Engineer and Producer Rafa Sardina.
The event saw Audiomovers Product Specialist Eddie Pitman use LISTENTO to stream 7.1.4 ATMOS versions of The Beatles ‘Here Comes The Sun’ and ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ by Alicia Keys in full lossless 16-bit PCM from Abbey Road Studios’ iconic Studio 2 to UMG Mexico’s Dolby ATMOS Auditorium, where guests listened to the tracks in full ATMOS surround, with Binaural Renderer for Apple Music showcasing the binauralized versions on Audeze headphones.
Audiomovers showcased the latest innovations in remote music collaboration technology at Sound:Check XPO.
Alongside the Audiomovers showcase event, the team also attended Sound:Check XPO, which featured three days of exclusive in-person product demos hosted by SoundGirls, with AVID also presenting Binaural Renderer for Apple Music at the SoundGirls booth.
Day one kicked off with Audiomovers’ Head of Product Igor Maxymenko demoing LISTENTO, OMNIBUS, INJECT and Binaural Renderer for Apple Music to the Music Technology students of Tec De Monterrey for Soundmasters Festival.
Soundmasters Festival also featured talks from industry luminaries George Massenburg, Leslie Ann Jones, Michael Romanowski, John Krivit, Jorge Azama, Alan Tucker and Rafa Sardina.
Day two of Sound:Check XPO saw Audiomovers garner a packed house for ‘Audio Without Limits – Remote Audio Innovation in Music Production’, an insightful discussion led by the multi-time Grammy Award-winning Recording Engineer, Mix Engineer and Producer Rafa Sardina (Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Alejandro Sanz) and Mix Engineer, Dolby Atmos Certified Producer and Chapter Head of SoundGirls SoundGirls Mexico, Carolina Anton.
The talk examined the rapid advancements of remote audio collaboration technology and how tools like LISTENTO have changed the music industry globally. Audiomovers would like to thank George Massenburg, Michael Romanowski, Rafa Sardina and Caronlina Anton for their support during the talk.
